So, guys, an old friend of mine is in town. So if you see an eccentric lady with purple-gold hair and goes by Sophia or Sophie, she isn't a danger to you or anything.

Also, she's going to be asking some of you now/later for some help to help her beat up those masked hooligans with the Ancient Gears, that are attacking a very important tree in a very special forest that really shouldn't be messed with.

Yes, and sadly. I can't go punch people personally due to this, and have to stand pat until there's another attack. Unless you'd rather Niyo run daily military drills while I'm away.

I can put her in contact with some of our agents abroad, if you want to put her my way, and fill her in on anything you didn't, I suppose.

Please refrain from frying my Lead Dispatch's brain too badly if you could. I need her to be somewhat well-coordinated. Also, on a personal note, I consider Niyo a good friend if a bit cynical.

Anything of world-shattering importance I need to be clued into the goings-on of that may or may revolve around current operations we're engage- oh right. Simpler. Ugh.

Do you need my cooperation in any of these matters in any specific way that you can't tell other people about.

Academia is fucking around with the Naturia Sacred Tree, which is the core of Sophie B's system. The tree has a security and task system in the form of the Qliphoth system, i.e. The Qliphort.

The Qliphort can unleash the Infernoids, which are designed to basically "Reformat" the universe's "Disk" so to speak.

The Black Spot is something coming very soon where reality as we know it just simply... "Isn't". It's not the Tree. The tree I think is small potatoes.

This is something Really Bad. And I think whatever Academia is doing is going to cause it.

If we're talking about something worse than the Qliphort and the Infernoids, then yeah, I'd have to assume it's bad on a level we've only see when...

well, when Hikari nearly killed everything. But we had Juudai at full strength then to pull our assess out of the fire. I would have called that a once-in-a-thousand-years level of catastrophic if I was in the prophesying business.

I can promise you no matter what happens I'm gonna put everything I have - both as Onni and as the Gigantech Fighter - into the city's defense. I'll coordinate everyone as best I can.
