I keep considering wanting to be mayor of Domino, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to do the work of being a mayor other than ceremonial stuff.

So would it be smarter to run or to get someone else to run for me.

"Sekuta"... Oh, right, that's Kantei-san's older name. I can't really say, I've made it a point to avoid interaction with him since he is rather vehemently against my existing.

I don't know Miss Akaba personally enough to judge her abilities in a political position.

I like Adam, but: No.

I don't know Miss Mikata personally enough to judge, either. The last time I really spoke to her on a personal level was years ago.

Does Shiroko really strike you as that much of an airhead?

I think I might go ask Hiroshi, mostly because this worldline's Hiroshi is actually a good person. Just an overstuffed gold-digger. But I don't blame you for being repelled by the old one.

It's extremely difficult to mentally separate from her old version, yes. I don't... Hate her, but I do remember a lot of the problems she produced. The pain that was caused.

As for Shiroko, er... yes, a bit, but also there does tend to be negative effects to when she opts to take breaks. You do remember how recently she took a break from being a clothier, but then others started to assume she was unable to hold a job at all, yes?

What would happen if the stress of being in a political position occurs and she needs to step away, for a bit?

With regards to Hiroshi, most of that melts away when you have brunch with her enough times and you listen to her drone on about shoes and cars and old rock albums while having quiche.

... I might have been responsible for the "unable to hold a job at all" bit.

I was trying to be nice to Shiroko! Let people not hound her for not being at work and let other people keep the company running on some fairly basic orders.

How was I supposed to know it would turn into "Shiroko is a doofy airheaded heiress".

It more escalated from her being hounded for not being at work to her being hounded for not having work, yes.

And because things snowball in your presence.

Don't just do something and see where it goes.

Create a controlled environment to see if things snowball, and have a contingency in case it gets out of hand.
