I. Think I need to spring clean.

::You can find Noriko in the Park, lying on the grass, in a Sun Dress, Sunglasses and a comfy jacket.
Or you can find her in her teacher's Uniform on a grassy hill near Duel Academia, sighing idly. And drumming her heel on the hill.
Either way, she seems like she has a lot on her mind, staring out into space.::

Having some thoughts?
Re: [Event]
::Sits up, hands pushing her up, behind her back.::
Are you asking in your capacity as my student or my son.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
A lot of thoughts. The main one being is a nagging urge to drop everything and run, at the moment.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
If I knew that, honey, I wouldnt be laying on a hill listlessly.
Maybe something dangerous is coming and I have an instinctual reaction to flee for higher ground.
Maybe I'm averse to too much responsibility and want to ditch it all.
Maybe I'm bad at commitment and like to jet off whenever I want.
Maybe I'm mentally 16 deep down and I'm having a panic attack and want to be a teenager again.
Re: [Event]
*tapping his weird toy a little nervously*
Re: [Event]
Yes. Mentally 16 with aeons of experience. ... I'm sorry you have to see me like this, sweetie.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
Nor do I! And, don't worry, I'm entirely proud of you and your sisters and our entire family.
It's just I also have an awful side of me that feels way too pressured and wants to go play hooky.
... Maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis. Plenty of adults do stupid things when they hit middle age or something, right?
Re: [Event]
You're a "teenager" and an adult that's feeling pressured right now, so maybe that's double the "stupid things" tendency.
Re: [Event]
... I'm not sure whether to be bothered, impressed or glad you're comfortable talking about with this me.
Or that you can accept the fact your mother is emotionally a teenage girl faking it until she makes it as hard as possible.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
And now I'm not sure whether or not to be mad at myself for being so flippant.
... Do you find it weird now? And how are things going for you, anyways?
Re: [Event]
... and not too good, really. I'm kinda stumped on how to approach the situation I'm in. I feel like something bad's going to happen if they stick around here, maybe not even related to them specifically, but there's going to be no relenting unless I agree to cooperate. *siiigh*
Re: [Event]
Yes, dear, I have, I'm practically a abyss of time itself. And, why don't you just drop them in the ocean or keep stuffing them into lockers and take their lunch money?
Re: [Event]
... besides, I was raised to have restraint.
Re: [Event]
Restraint's important. Without restraint we're nothing more than animals.
But you also need to set boundaries with people and tell them when to go pound sand. Now if they'll take the hint is a whole other thing.
Re: [Event]
The main problem's mostly... Landrobe.
Re: [Event]
On a scale of Gay Crush to Future Supervillain, how problematic are we talking.
Re: [Event]
Who might have a weird crush on me.
Re: [Event]
So stuff him into the locker and take the others out for ice cream.
Re: [Event]
That and it seems rude, since he's sick.
Re: [Event]
I'm not sure him being sick is an excuse for rude behavior, honey. Just because they're sick doesn't mean you should put up with them being a jerk.
That's just asking to be a doormat, and gawd, that never ends well.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
Sadame would go on about some completely banal "Too much mucking around could shatter the timeline". But you know, that sounds like a challenge to me rather than a concern.
I wonder if I'm just BORED due to being in a rut. Because breaking the timeline sounds like fun at the moment.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
Fine fine.
I'll have to admit it, even though Akae and Euphie call me that, it feels strange hearing being called it. Again, I'm sorry you have to see me like this. I hope you don't think less of me.
Re: [Event]
Re: [Event]
Well, I could play hooky for a while...
But what do I do at the end? I mostly feel like I have too much dependent on me and that feels gross right now. I like my job here and I love you guys, but.
Everything else seems like way too much of a hassle.
Re: [Event]
Though thinking about it, I don't need to be the one running stuff like Black Velvet, that's why I have "People", right? I just need to own it.
