Maybe something dangerous is coming and I have an instinctual reaction to flee for higher ground.

Maybe I'm averse to too much responsibility and want to ditch it all.

Maybe I'm bad at commitment and like to jet off whenever I want.

Maybe I'm mentally 16 deep down and I'm having a panic attack and want to be a teenager again.

It's just I also have an awful side of me that feels way too pressured and wants to go play hooky.



... Maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis. Plenty of adults do stupid things when they hit middle age or something, right?

You're a "teenager" and an adult that's feeling pressured right now, so maybe that's double the "stupid things" tendency.

... and not too good, really. I'm kinda stumped on how to approach the situation I'm in. I feel like something bad's going to happen if they stick around here, maybe not even related to them specifically, but there's going to be no relenting unless I agree to cooperate. *siiigh*

But you also need to set boundaries with people and tell them when to go pound sand. Now if they'll take the hint is a whole other thing.

I wonder if I'm just BORED due to being in a rut. Because breaking the timeline sounds like fun at the moment.

But what do I do at the end? I mostly feel like I have too much dependent on me and that feels gross right now. I like my job here and I love you guys, but.

Everything else seems like way too much of a hassle.
