Genuine question:

Should I reduce my involvement with BV to purely an advisory and ceremonial role with little to no input so I can focus on family, teaching people magic, self care, and the world not falling apart? And hand over direct control of stocks to my daughter(s).

I feel like I tend to overfill my plate with responsibilities and.

I did reduce my role to like Chairwoman leaving the day to day MOSTLY to my sister but I feel like I easily let myself get sucked into working for the sake of work...

Are you sure you're not just going to get sucked into working for the sake of work, anyway, even if you further reduce your role?

I am not sure.

I want to get away from my current mindset and embrace a healthier me.

Any idea how I could avoid getting sucked into working for the sake of work?

I'm not really sure, honestly, even after thinking about it. I can't personally imagine a situation where one wouldn't be doing something productive for at least some time, so I guess you need to personally decide when you're being productive, and when you're just... doing things for the sake of it?

Yeah.

I worry I'm currently "I have to be doing X because it's what I do". When I literally have a multi-xillion dollar company beneath me with a CEO, VP, 4 junior VPs being called 'Secretaries', and so on, with multiple subsidiaries. I feel like I'm potentially doing busy work at that point? There's no reason the papers I sign can't be done by my sister, daughter or those VPs.

When I could be doing things like. Witching. Or raising my son.

Or making sure Suzume doesn't become an anime poster.

... yes, that would be a very bad thing to happen.

As a note, what is it about Shiroko mentioning "weird side effects" to stopping things like that last bit?

... Ironically it's meant to sure up stopping things like that.

The issue is uh, her mother volunteered to be the fourth in a quartet of Goddesses since I couldn't find anyone else willing or capable. As I need to do some really specific magic to at least protect the Greater Domino Area from uh, essentially reality rot? And. Ascending to Godhood from straight on human is kinda really difficult?

Basically, it's going to ripple effect onto her family line, etc. etc. I had to use at least two to three different Duel Spirits for each adult, three different dangerous relics in total, and some BV fashion magazines and ad posters, to ignite the process.

Why would it have a ripple effect to her family line, however? Ascending to godhood doesn't seem like something to cause a retroactive effect.

Because she'll start to retroactively ripple through time for really really dumb reasons involving the 12 Dimensions, faith and belief.

That and maybe I'd like Shiroko and Shiyoko in some form, to have spines steelrod enough to not be crushed by the enormous weight of their mother's presence.

I really wish "reality rot" wasn't something that was on the list of issues to be concerned about, in the first place...

Me either.

I mean if you can find me a healthy universe that's basically sterile but stable, or one that's active and can afford like, a blood transfusion to us, I can solve that immediately.

But most universes are clunkers, lemons or collapse in on themselves.

Until then, we remain with the issue of Suzume as a Poster, Souha becomes a Penguin, and you speak only in Comic Sans.

Sadly, I've not quite nailed down "locating alternate universes" yet.
