[Event Post] Super Therapy Time

::So, let's say you've been traumatized by the events of 2 weeks ago involving giant killer robots, or you just feel anxious or whichever. Well, you can either come to be as a Guidance Counselor at Duel Academia, or find my private small practice I'm running in the city for non-students (i.e. Anyone out of High School). Both of which are professional.

As to how I'm doing both ventures, well a wizard did it. And that wizard happens to be me, Noriko. Time Loops for fun and profit.::

Also I don't know if he was talking to me, there were like cool people there he probably was talking to more. But he said "if you don't wanna be solid snake then leave" but I literally couldn't move my body so I'm not really sure what's happening.

Has he offered you a business contract or a wage. Furthermore, I don't know the Academy's position on you being a Duel Monsters Merc.

Nothing like that. He just kinda dueled Yuya cause they were upset about stuff and then left. I haven't seen him since then, I have no idea if he was serious or not. But like, he seems like the kind of guy with enough money and power to actually draft a bunch of people into a military to go beat up nazis from the pirate dimension.

Do YOU want to beat up Nazis from the Pirate Dimension? Have any friends or family objected?

Oh, I haven't told them about it. They probably don't want me to die. Mostly Lauren.

I'd heavily recommend talking to your family and friends first, before you become Solid Snake.

Well, they'd probably stop me. Even Yasha would probably want me out of trouble.

Literal. Not fun. I'll spare you the details other than, let's for simplicity's sake, say I'm... oh, say, a practicing witch. Saying anything else is too big a scale and I'm not going to turn your therapy into a farce.

I think I get it. Since they're pirates, that means there's probably like giant squids also.

Probably also sharks and alligators.

Yeah, it's dangerous. I can't duel a shark.

Except that one kid who's name is Shark, but that's different.

... That is different, but do you have any feelings on the incident you'd like to express? Things like that are so stressful.

I don't think I actually feel anything. I've just felt kinda out of it. Like I was scared, for sure. When I saw people die and...

The whole thing just felt like I was on autopilot. It still does.

... Could be Depersonalization. Which is fairly expected for a traumatic incident like this.

Is that good?

It's expected as a mental self defense mechanism but the fact you had to do it is bad, and if your brain connects the incident to your emotions proper, you might have a mental breakdown.

Oh, jeez. That sucks.

How do I not do that?

Might be more accurately "Shell Shock" PTSD, thinking on it but the two and anxiety have a lot of common similarities and chain effects. Exposing yourself to the same conditions is probably a bad idea but ultimately I'm your counselor and if you don't listen to me, well, that's how it goes.

I guess so? Isn't anxiety the weird breathing thingy?

That's more likely part of a panic / anxiety attack, but constant stress, worry, pit-in-the-stomach feelings all happen.

Do I just wait it out and see if my I start crying a lot?

Could be seconds, could be days, could be years, could be never. This isn't likely developmental PTSD, where it's ground into the core of your being, most likely, but PTSD has the weirdest triggers, unfortunately.

Well, I've been dueling fine. Or, about the same. After everything happened with Jason and Garlandolf, I felt a lot better about stuff. Wouldn't like... getting back on the dueling bike fix that so I don't explode at all?
