Under threat of sleeping on the couch forever.

What was it you had me deliver to Miss Kamala, in the first place?

A card that I believe manifested as a Trap Card from what Kamala is telling me. I think she's still going by Kamala for the moment. "Scarlet Rebirth - MODE: GONE" I believe she called it.

Aisenburn and I forged it out of a Dark Tuner Core, as a second lease on life for her in case the Fae did anything dirty.

This is the part where I need everyone to not panic.

She's basically going to be an extremely powerful hybrid Signer-Dark Signer.

Who is a psychic. Like empathy manipulation psychic.

And Fae elements.

And probably will become a Duel Spirit.

And Setsu and I need to find a much more permanent answer on the Signer part.

I mean the former is mostly the Crimson Dragon hates that she's my Dark Signer and wants to kill me and her probably. If she loses it uh, nothing TOO awful happens other than she becomes kind of a huge mean girl queen bee probably? Maybe. But.

I'd really rather not have her 3 year old aunt and AFD be forced to try and kill her.

Her mother's a Beast King Barbaros. Reality is going to rubber band snap on her. No never mind I think she is already as a "Linewalker".

Basically Kamala as we all know and love her is being held together by duct tape, gum, rubber bands and paper clips.

I'm shocked you're not panicking on the Dark Signer part.

I would like a priority list of things that you know need to happen so that the ramifications of the Masquerade Breach as well as Kamala's general uh, current composite existence, don't regress into something worse.

Especially since I assume this was the 'best possible answer' for the events as they transpired.

Least Worst Answer, sadly.

A. We need to take over the Domino government (Kouji did this)

B. We need to integrate Kaiba Corp and Leo Corp's private police forces with OOPARTS to provide an alternative police force since the police are domestic terrorists (Kouji is doing this)

C. Take over the Japanese Diet. At the very least, Domino needs to have a nuclear deterrent or similar that's public to ensure M.A.D. doctrine.

D. Keep funding SAI heavily to make integration easier.

E. Please talk to Setsu now that she's in town, I'm working with her and Ai on [things].

F. Uh. We need to keep Kamala's Signer Mark on her so it doesn't transfer to Ryushi, her 3 year old aunt, and AFD and the other Signers don't get forced into killing her.

G. We probably should also keep it bolted onto her so she doesn't turn into a bitchy princess queen bee at best and a cartoon supervillain at worst.

H. Uh, we probably should discuss the fact she's a Dark Signer.

I have no emotional reason to be concerned about Dark Signers.

Shian, however, likely would have a few thoughts on that.

Well if they'd like to input or ask questions, they should, 'cuz I ain't gonna be blamed if people don't ask me questions and then it blows up in everyone's faces because they didn't ask.

Half predicted, half have been pushing for this to happen in one shape or another, half there's a theological organization dedicated to a lot of what happened on Halloween due to their own prophecies.

I hate Least Worst Answers, Noriko. And I'm working on questions! But I've been swamped with overhauling OOPARTS' systems in wake of all the newcomers to the city, as well as Kouji's desire to fully privatize the security force and get OOPARTS and all the other big players to play along.

Right, so, let's start with the basics - Kamala. How much does the whole Dark Signer business affect her right now? I likened it to my own, uh, 'transformation', but I assume it's a bit more than that given all the factors involved.

Speaking of those factors, how do we, you know, fix the fact that apparently we've got three different powers bolted together keeping her from going off the deep end.

I had less than 24 hours, less than 6 hours really to come up with a 'protect Kamala from dirty tricks caveat', you only get Least Worst Answers.

The Dark Signer part, specifically the Dark Signer Mark and the Dark Tuner Core are keeping her sorta-kinda alive in a definition of the word. The positive is she's drawing the power to do so from me. The negative is you're going to ask 'why is it being drawn from you, Noriko'.

I'm not sure we do. Kamala (Hi Honey if you read this) is being held together by Fae Royal Jelly, her Dark Signer Mark, her Signer Mark, and Psychic Power since she was raised somewhere not of Earth.

The big issue is the Signer Mark is the restraining bolt on Kamala being replaced by Mean Girl!Kamala.

So... what do we do to detangle the knot that is Kamala being a nexus of like five different powers and at least one major personality swtich.

No, I expect that to be our existences eternally.

Gren ate an Earthbound Immortal from another time-and-space that's super different from the ones of our world. No worries, it's a rotting corpse and is mostly one of my dozen hearts.

I'd rather she be powerful as it resolves the metaphysical balance I've been having issues with for Domino. But uh. We need to make sure the Crimson Dragon doesn't yoink its mark and make Ryushi into a niece-cider.

Just as a barometer, this is from a doomed timeline that we don't have people squatting from, right. Because that is a growing concern.

I agree with the general sentiment, but I also want my niece to grow up with as normal a lifestyle as can be afforded to her for as long as possible. So whatever steps I can help take to cut down on the fratricide potential and also keep this whole mess from blowing up in our face, I'm on call for.

Nope! It's from far far beyond the stars! Basically the only thing left was its crypt of sorts and most of its body was falling apart into the darkness.

None of this was supposed to come up until she was in high school!

And uh. Well, there's PROBABLY a more permanent solution that I'm not sure but Setsu and her child have a possible idea to help!

The main issue of what's pinning her down so far is a bracelet created by Hyperborea, and it'll eventually break.

Yeah, well, clearly we were off on our predictions by a pretty significant order of magnitude.

The bracelet is at least a problem I can work my head around - if nothing else I'm the best engineer in this damn city while you've got Shiyoko's brain in a lockbox. So I'll talk with Setsu about that one.
